How to practice if your neighbours hate violin

You always find so little time to practice, and on top of that, your neighbors complain every time you pick up your violin.

The mutes don’t work, and your technique fades away.

What should you do?

The safest option on the table is practicing without the bow.

Believe me, sounds stupid, but it can make the difference you need!

This way, you can focus more on the left hand and discover mistakes that you didn’t even know existed.

I discovered this when I broke my right hand in the 3rd year of university. I thought the world was ending, and I couldn’t prepare for my finals. Only to find out that it was the best practice I ever had.

I’ve got:

-perfect intonation

-finger dexterity

-confident shifting positions

-clear sound

Yes, without the bow. You should try it. Your neighbors don’t need to come to your door so often.
